If you want to discover the beauties of the sea floor, all you have to do is put a mask and flippers on and you will discover the typical environment made of rock walls and shoals full of flora and fauna. There are scuba tanks and diving suits for experts that want to spend a day out diving. If you are beginners and want to learn there are many different courses. The most evocative places that you really cannot miss seeing there is Baia Verde, Punta Pizzo and the Parete di Ponente on the Sant’Andrea island.
The disco soul of Gallipoli mixes well with the love for the sea. On hot summer weekends, floating discotecs are made on large boats with the most popular DJs of the moment. Among these we suggest the Gallipoli Boat Party that opens on the 28th July, and goes on every Friday in August. It foresees two boat trips, one in the afternoon with music and fun and another one in the evening from 11 o’clock pm which is a really unique experience!
